Full Moon in Solar Sign: Leo 10° January 30, 2010 @ 6:18 a.m. GMT January 29, 2010 @ 10:18 p.m. PST -8
Sun is Aquarius, 10° 14' Moon is Leo, 10° 14'
Apologies for the late delivery of this article. A new family member has us all worn out this week. Some additional news. The Jupiter Report is still on sale, the donation drive for the Medical Teams International will end on February 1 and our thanks to all who have ordered reports during the past two weeks. By ordering a report/s through our online store, your donations/contributions will be forwarded to MTI help to provide care for the injured in Haiti on February 1. The Leo Full Moon is typically a loud and fun time. This one should be a memorable time. Be careful of the words spoken, since we can tend to imbibe a bit too much for our own good and end up blurting a few comments that could ultimately come back to haunt us. The Sun in Aquarius also encourages friendship and networking. Although we may not be quite as hug'some in our ties, we are more likely to go the extra mile to ensure that our friends are well taken care of. The Sun is conjunct with Venus, adding another friendly layer to this weekend. The very loose trine with Saturn retrograde in Libra encourages us to be more patient with our peers and with our partners. Where we might get tripped up is the Mars retrograde conjunction with the Moon in Leo. We could very well trip over ourselves, trying to avoid the emotional factor that is likely to keep warning us to be more cautious. Leo influence is not one of the more cautious energies in the Zodiac, hence, we may end up losing something this weekend because we are not paying close enough attention to the subtle cues or expressions. The last Out of Bounds planet was the Moon which moved back in bounds on January 28. We feel more self-assured this weekend. The Mars OOB transit will be noticeable in February, which can add an aggressive or physical twist to our behaviors. February will not be a good month to keep track of everyone else's issues. We will be better served by tracking our own actions. The Sun in Aquarius does tend to amplify our quirky traits. We are likely to be a bit more unconventional. We like to help others, but our actions are perceived as being distant, detached and perhaps even a bit unnerving to others. But, we are, most assuredly, on task when it comes to solving problems or seeking out better options. The Full Moon in Leo, in the meantime, encourages us to seek out love, pleasure, fun child-like events, and to put our talents in the spotlight. Mercury in Capricorn can frequently feel tired and overworked. Watch out for feelings of depression while Mercury transits Capricorn. However, when Mercury is used as a tool to improve the workplace, there is a lot of motivation involved. Jupiter has moved into Pisces and will be on a mad dash to move into Aries much sooner than usual. The length of time for Jupiter to visit a sign can be quite erratic. While we frequently experience Jupiter within a sign for almost 13 months, there are other times where Jupiter's visit to a sign is merely 8 months. While the explanation for this would be too complex to delve into for this article, suffice it to say, Jupiter's transit in Pisces this year will be short! The amount of time that Jupiter spends in Pisces will be a little more than 9 months. To get the best use of Pisces' influence while Jupiter is transiting we need to be very aware of the time periods and the retrogrades of Jupiter. Jupiter is direct in Pisces January 18 - July 6, then again from November 18 - January 22, 2011. So we have approximately 7.5 months of prime Jupiter in Pisces transits to work with. Jupiter's transit through Pisces can be fantasy ladened as we try to understand our dreams and beliefs along side our challenges and the mysteries of life. Jupiter is sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. We can dig deeper into the meaning of our dreams and actually walk away satisfied that we understand their meanings. Saturn retrograde in Libra is square to Pluto, helping us to confront our fears or disappointments. This important processing transit gives us some sense of confirmation, however we must be careful not to stay in that realm for too long so that we don't start blaming or wallowing. With a larger than normal number of planets in Fixed and Air signs, we may be more distracted than usual and procrastination could keep us from finishing important projects. Keep plugging away in small increments rather than going into total avoidance mode. Keeping one\'s eye on the goal does not preclude enjoying the surroundings.
