Lunar Eclipse - Virgo 13° - Total 123 9S
The first lunar eclipse of 2007 is best viewed from Western Asia,
Africa and Europe. The unusual feature of this lunar eclipse is the
fact that a portion of the eclipse can be viewed from just about every
region of the world.
This lunar eclipse originates from the Lunar Saros Series 123 (9S
family) dating back to August 1087. It began in the sign of Aquarius at
28° 55' when it joined in the 9th family of eclipse patterns. This
indicates that the originating eclipse energy was somewhat detached
with reactions being more instinctive, although unpredictable. There is
a cute and funny side to this influence, so be ready for a joke or two,
particularly when in a group friends and associates. We feel loved or
appreciated when we find people who support our points of view. This
theme carries through to all Lunar 9S or Lunar Saros 123 eclipses.
The Sun in Pisces and Moon in Virgo pushes us back and forth between
finding a sense of release or calm, while still feeling productive and
purposeful. Virgo likes that sentience of accomplishment. Many of us
have been sensing this eclipse approaching with a touch of urgency and
anxiety. Virgo can be a bit of a worrier and Pisces can push us to find
calm at any expense, even if it means numbing our feelings through
self-medicating. The feelings that scare us the most are the ones that
have us worried. We can't escape them or control them.... Personal
relationships might be the source of anxiety. We want to help others
achieve emotional stability, but at what cost? And why is there always
a cost for our choices? The best of intentions could blow up in our
faces. It may turn into ever expanding change between now and the next
Lunar Eclipse in August. This Lunar Eclipse Full Moon is likely to feel
more energetic than some Virgo Full Moons in the past. There are more
Masculine trends in this chart and the dominance or independence of it
all is likely to take precedence. Just remember to hang on to your
practicality, or you may jettison yourself into a situation that
becomes more than you can handle.

Solar Eclipse - Pisces 28° - Partial 149 9N
The first solar eclipse of 2007 is best viewed from North Alaska and
East Asia.
The solar eclipse originated from the Solar Saros Series 149 (9N
family) dating back to August 1664. That originating eclipse was
in Leo at 28° 51'. All the eclipses of 2007 belong to the 9th
family of eclipse patterns. An interesting feature about this Saros
(149) is the common traits that it holds with two other Solar Saros;
150 and 132. All three of these Solar Saros series started in the
late degrees of Leo, thus they carry some of the same energy traits.
The originating eclipse possessed leadership and power influences.
However, there is a softing feature brought in through the Moon ruling
Cancer which is the last dwad of the Leo. The arrogant proudness of the
Leo energies are minimized as the lessons of Leo are evolving into a
humble nature. This theme carries through to all the following Solar
9N/Solar Saros 149 eclipses.
Th partial solar eclipse is in Pisces. It is located in a
slightly vulnerable position as it pulls in a square aspect from
Pluto. The influences of Pluto force us to dig inside our souls.
In the meantime, our subconscious seems to be encouraging us to
exercise control over others. Who is controlling whom? Our
insensitivities to others may backfire. Yet, this solar eclipse
chart possesses a great combination of productive energies. Even
though the chart is a little low in the earth element and totally
devoid in the cardinal quality, the mix of influences, as it stands,
gives us an boost in problem-solving. We need to take care to
avoid making impulsive choices or trying to force others to make
impulsive decisions. Those types of decisions are likely to prove to be
unreliable. On the other hand, we are more flexible and
resourceful in finding solutions to problems that present themselves.
Abbr
- SE = Solar Eclipse; LE = Lunar Eclipse; 9N = 9 North; 9S = 9
South.
