The Eclipses belong to families and these families last for centuries. Each family has a minimum of four members. There will always be, at least two solar eclipses and two lunar eclipses for each family. Read more about the eclipse families at Eclipse. The April 2005 eclipses belong to 7th family. The Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2005 is Solar Saros 129 which was born on October 3, 1103. The Lunar Eclipse on April 24, 2005, is Lunar Saros 141 which was born on August 25, 1608. We utilize these charts just like we would a natal chart for an individual when examining the Eclipse energies.

The Solar Eclipse, Saros 129 is filled with a dynamic energy. The Eclipse originated in the sign of Libra but it is also influenced by Aquarius and Aries based on the Sun being in the 2nd decan and 7th dwad. We can expect to feel the energies of Uranus and Mars in conjunction with Venus. The effervescent nature of this Eclipse shines, each and every time it occurs. The tendency is to be motivated towards great accomplishments. Individuals born between April 7 and 12 are most likely to feel the impacts of this Eclipse, although anyone with a planetary placement near the 19th degree of Aries may have a power packed Ecliptic Event in their life this year. These are the individuals most likely to receive transformative messages through life experiences over the next few months.

The April 8 Eclipse brings in a whole new level of power. Regardless of the eclipse family energies, a Solar Eclipse that occurs in the sign of Aries typically arrives with a pioneering and adventurous drive. The force takes on a warrior mentality. Be careful how you choose to utilize the influences.

The Lunar Eclipse, Saros 141 carries a more complex message. The Eclipse originated in the sign of Pisces, but is also influenced by Aries based on the Moon being in the Pisces based 1st decan and Aries based 2nd dwad. We can expect to feel the energies of Neptune twice as strong with a hint of Mars for inspiration. The Eclipse chart is mysterious yet courageous at an intuitive level. The psychic sensitivities along with the spiritual pull are strongly felt when this Eclipse rolls in to town. It provides a brave front, encouraging us to be strong and fight for beliefs. However, we must be careful not to become martyrs in our fight or to fight without a true cause that we believe in. We may try to manipulate others into believing as we believe, which will do us more disservice, in the long run. Individuals born between October 27 and 31 are most likely to feel the influences of this Lunar Eclipse. Individuals with planets at 4 degrees in the signs of Scorpio or Taurus are most likely to feel the message being sent with this Lunar Eclipse because of the Sun and Moon being opposed while transiting these two signs at the time of the Lunar Eclipse.

Like the Solar Eclipse, the Lunar Eclipse of April 24 will also bring in additional changes in our lives. A Lunar Eclipse that occurs in the sign of Scorpio tends to lend an air of emotional intensity. Our inner resolve might become entrenched with determination to prove our worth or our point, out in the world. Being paired with the Aries Solar Eclipse, we may already have a head-strong attitude going into the Lunar Eclipse. Don’t become covert in your agendas.

The second half of the family in this Eclipse series will occur in October 2005. The Solar Eclipse will occur in the sign of Libra and the Lunar Eclipse will occur in the sign of Aries. Whatever we learn as a result of the April Eclipses is likely to come round to us again in October.
