Lunar Living Astrology

The full moon in Virgo is opposing the Sun's transit through Pisces. This moon is frequently referred to as the Snow Moon, as we head into spring near the end of next month. [Note: That would be heading into fall in the southern hemisphere.]

The Sun, Mercury and Saturn are all forming a stellium conjunction in Pisces, while opposing the Moon. This will, most likely, leave us with some tense or uneasy feelings as we try to figure out the next best move. Thankfully, the Moon is no longer Out of Bounds and all of the other planets are moving direct motion. That allows us to move forward with a solid foundation. Saturn has a productive sextile aspect to Jupiter in Taurus, helping us to open up options that we may not have realized were available before now. We may need to set aside any procrastination and take a serious look at any problems we may be struggling with. If we can't "just do it" ourselves, look for professional help to begin clearing up the matter so that we can finally start over, or at the very least, move past the road blocks we have been encountering up to this point.

One of the most productive aspects during this full moon is the conjunction of Venus and Mars in Aquarius. This is a great time to explore new relationships, friendships, and partnerships. This is not an aspect of commitments, but a beginning point of exploration. Venus and Mars are, however, forming a square to Jupiter in Taurus. We may stumble a little, perhaps experiencing some awkward moments, or experience some nervous utterances that culminate into embarrassment. Try to shake that part off with a smile and gracious apology.

Pluto is full on in Aquarius now, and no more back tracking into Capricorn. Refer back to the last full moon article in January for a reminder of the Pluto in Aquarius history.

The interesting feature about this full moon is the fact that there are no planets in the Fire Element signs and none in the Cardinal Quality signs. We may feel unmotivated to change our current situations, although, in truth, we should make some effort to change. The "one-track life" we want to snuggle into, is not going to last. If we push ourselves out of that desire, we will be much happier when the new moon rolls up on us in a couple of weeks. This is not a suggestion that we abandon all precautions. Instead, take what we have learned up to this point to help guide us out of the ruts. This is an excellent time to start planning for events we want to experience for next season.
