Sun is Pisces, 8° 57'
Moon is Virgo, 8° 57'
The Sun's transit in Pisces is always that last portion of Winter (in the northern hemisphere; Summer in the southern) that has us contemplating, anxiously, or not, about the next season. In my area, many of us are busy germinating seeds. This is a time where we just want to unwind after a tense few months. We work harder to get our emotional health back on track. The opposing Moon, in Virgo, accentuates our health concerns, as well as our work matters involving other employees at our jobs, or our search for the job that will be to our best benefit in the future.
The Sun is forming a very loose conjunction to Venus in Pisces and both are sextile to Uranus in Taurus while forming a wedge pattern to the full moon. There is an optimism mixed in with frustration. Both can open up opportunities, with an open mind.
Mercury in Aquarius is gradually recovering the ground that it lost during the retrograde motion earlier this month. By March 13, it will be out of that "shadowed" region and heading towards Pisces. At the moment, there is a loose conjunction by Mercury with Saturn in Aquarius but also a conjunction with Jupiter in Aquarius. Although Jupiter and Saturn are no longer connected with a conjunction, Mercury is acting as a bridge to bring some of their blended influences back into our awareness. Mercury's conjunction with Jupiter highlights our gifts of communication, while the conjunction with Saturn highlights our ability to stay focused on a project. However, the square to Uranus in Taurus may take us down a few rabbit holes. Be prepared for a few "out of body" experiences that may, or may not, be quite enlightening.
Mars in the last few degrees of Taurus is tied back to Pluto in Capricorn with a trine aspect. This can help us to see through some of the foggy mysteries that have been confusing us lately. But it could also cause us to feel that we have some form of control that, in truth, is not what we think it is.If we stick with what we know to be the honest truth; the facts as we know them, we will be less likely to step off into the abyss while studying the clouds.
The moon was Out of Bounds (OOB) Feb 21 - 24, and won't be OOB again until March 6th. There is always a sense of vulnerability tied to the Moon's OOB transit.
But, overall, the planets are starting to track back into a more balanced alignment (after the heavy load of planets in Aquarius for the new moon. We have three planets now in the masculine receptive placements, all three of those being Aquarius, with seven planets in the feminine receptive placements, four of them in Earth sign placements and three in Water sign placements. So, collectively, we are starting to feel as though we have something to hang on to. We are feeling more versatile and have more options to investigate.
