The full moon on March 7th is also known as the Worm Moon or the Crow Moon by some of the American indigenous tribes. The Moon is in Virgo, opposing the Sun in Pisces. This full moon typically activates emotions involving health matters, whether that involves ourselves, or involves the health of others. The Moon in Virgo activate desires of cleaning and organizing, and in the northern hemisphere may be associated with "spring cleaning." With the Sun in Pisces, we are more tuned into the emotions of others around us. But this can be draining, as we feel like others become too clingy and drain us of our healthy vibes. This full moon is forming a wedge aspect to Uranus in Taurus. The aspect pattern adds to our natural intuition, and may even spark some sudden insight into matters that we may have overlooked in the past. Venus in Aries is sextile to Mars in Gemini while loosely conjunct to Jupiter. These connections could easily jumpstart a new friendship, or partnership that carries over into, at least, the summer months. While Venus transits Aries, we are more quickly aroused by situations that feel new to us. Mars is finishing up in Gemini, while it is still transiting Out of Bounds (OOB). About the time we finally feel comfortable with feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable, Mars will finally move into Cancer on March 25th. Perhaps, some of the "wokism" fear mongering will start to die down once Mars has moved out of Gemini? Time will tell. Today, Mars is square to Neptune in Pisces, adding to our fears, while causing us to have some distressing and unrealistic expectations of others. As you will note in the chart below, this full moon is right at the point of Saturn moving over the cusp of Pisces. Saturn will spend a relatively short amount of time moving into Pisces and retrograde, before returning to Aquarius in about six months. Our initial taste of Saturn in Pisces may have us reflecting on our past, more than usual. Don't be surprised if we discover that we experience several emotional triggers over the next few months. The taskmaster traits of Saturn will have a lesson for us in all this. Also take note that Pluto is nearing the cusp of the Aquarius sign. Pluto has been on the Anaretic degree (29th) of Capricorn since the middle of February. With most planets, moving/sitting on the ledge like this can feel jittery and disquieting as we mentally prepare to step off into new territory. With Pluto, it may not feel quite as uncomfortable because Pluto moves so slowing into that direction, that we feel as though we are more prepared when the time comes. On March 23, Pluto will ingress into Aquarius. Overall, during this full moon, we are likely to be more introspective of our current circumstances. There are seven planets in feminine receptive signs, while only having three planets in masculine signs. We are better prepared to accomplish necessary tasks without all the external motivation. We know what needs to be done, and we feel as though we "got this." Not being the most balanced of charts, the feminine signs are the Earth and Water Elements. This gives us the ability to let go of problems or to adjust based on the realization that we have hit a wall. The fact that there is only one planet in a Fixed Quality sign is another factor that allows us to move past a complication without obsessing over what we might be losing in the process. Add in the fact that there are six planets in the Mutable signs, we definitely are prepared to let go, and get on with it. Remember, Daylight Saving Time will be shifting for the USA next weekend.
