Sun is Aries, 26° 46'
Moon is Libra, 26° 46'
The Sun in Aries and the Moon in Libra are moving over critical degrees of the signs, and, as such, this amplifies the intent of their placements. In North America, this full moon may be called the Pink Moon, as the spring flowers emerge. The Sun's need to be active or proactive, with the Moon's need to keep the peace or partner up with someone. The full moon is forming a loose, out of sign wedge connection with Mars in Pisces along with an in sign wedge to Saturn in Aquarius. This can help us to find a sense of balance in our interactions with others, as long as we realize there will be limitations and expectations that will be attached. The full moon is in a T-square with Pluto in Capricorn. This one is more likely to pull us into situations that will make us feel uncomfortable. Capricorn rules over social reputations and authority. Be ready to deal with consequences if we find we have made a bad choice, or even a good choice that is perceived as bad.
The Moon in Libra is forming an inconjunction (quincunx) to Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces. The challenge here is to understand how our current emotional state is tied into our mental health factors and/or into large institutions that we seem to be associated with. This short lived aspect may feel like a quick blip on the radar, but it is more important than we will realize. Consider exploring it beyond today.
Mercury is heading into a retrograde motion soon enough. In less than a month, Mercury will station retrograde in Gemini for about three weeks. If we are entering into any legal transactions, try to get them wrapped up before May 10 to avoid any potential misunderstandings. Today, Mercury is conjunct with Uranus in Taurus while forming a sextile to Venus in Pisces. There is a feeling of urgency with these connections, while at the same time, finances, talents, and personal interactions are being highlighted as significant factors to our benefit. Keep an open mind, but at the same time, don't assume that we are ready to jump on board to a sweet deal. If we haven't already done the homework on any urgent transactions, there will still be a risk factor involved.
Jupiter in Pisces is conjunct to Neptune. Having weird dreams? Blame that on Jupiter and Neptune, but also there is the sextile from Jupiter to Pluto in Capricorn. We have an increased desire to understand the mysteries that confound us at the moment. Journal those dreams. We might begin to see a pattern that can bring clarity, eventually.
All in all, even with the Sun in Aries, the majority of the planets are in feminine receptive signs. We won't feel compelled to be front and center of every situation. Leading from behind by representing the values that are important to us will feel more comfortable, in the long run. Most of the planets are in Earth and Water elements meaning that we can be both adaptive and persistent without jeopardizing our objectives. This full moon will be more significant for our personal well being while also connecting us with those who can help us. A quick reminder that the next new moon will be a solar eclipse in the sign of Taurus. Some of us may already be feeling those eclipse vibrations.
Meditation for the April 16th Full Moon
Getting out of the way and letting things happen is sometimes the very best thing we can do.
