Sun is Taurus, 27° 39'
Moon is Scorpio, 27° 39'

The Flower Full Moon in Scorpio opposes the Sun's transit through Taurus, as it prepares to ingress Gemini. This can be a time of money worries, or worries about security in other ways. The Moon's transit through Scorpio can really get into our heads, and trip up any plans that we thought we had all secure. That's partly because the full moon expects us to factor in the needs of others, and not just our own. This can be a time of cutting strings, throwing out unneeded items, or generally learning that we can't (and shouldn't) try to control others. The Sun's transit through Taurus can cause us to become a bit too possessive, and not just of material items. The Sun conjunction to Mercury with the Moon's opposition, pushes on us to think out our actions rather than impulsively being trapped by negativity and REactions. The Sun is Trine to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn, and forming a wedge with the Moon. The helps us to pull the best out of Pluto, from both sides, helping us to rebound from misfortunes, or helping us to better understand the mysteries of events that may have eluded us in the past. Although the Sun and Moon have moved out of their respective aspects to Saturn retrograde in Capricorn, Saturn and Pluto are working together to help us transition into something better for us, in the long run. This is transition may not even be obvious to us, but we are adapting and adjusting, nonetheless.

Mercury in Taurus is connecting to both Pluto retrograde and Saturn retrograde with a trine, helping us to think matters through in a more systematic way. While it may not be our usual way of working through the mental processes, we should feel good about the outcomes, once it is all said and done.

Venus has just recently ingressed Taurus, and Awh, doesn't that feel better now? This is a time of appreciation for the finer things in life. We feel more grounded now as we tap into the classics of what helps us to feel good. Plant those [proverbial] seeds and watch them grow. Venus is conjunct to Uranus in Taurus and both are sextile to Mars, now in Cancer and still transiting OOB. This may be an excellent compatibility aspect for many of us, and relationships will seemingly develop out of thin air. This may not be the time to take things too seriously, but a great time to explore the options.

If you read the Taurus new moon article, you will remember that Mars is transiting Out of Bounds (OOB) for an extended period, and Jupiter is hovering at the edge of the extreme declinations, also for an extended period of time. Mercury will be transiting OOB starting May 27. All this tension is impacting us in ways that are never easy to comprehend. Feel free to go back and review that portion.

Jupiter retrograde in Sagittarius is less than helpful right now. Those gifts from Jupiter require considerably more work than we normally like to expend. For all the work, it no longer feels like a gift, afterall. Jupiter is square to Neptune in Pisces, adding an extra layer of confusion to our attempts to understand the mysteries that we had hoped to comprehend.

Saturn's retrograde is moving away from the conjunction to Pluto's retrograde in Capricorn. At the same time, it is moving into a sextile to Neptune in Pisces. This may be the best time ever to build on talents that can later be used to support and sustain ourselves. Pluto retrograde can help us to re-evaluate who we are and what we want to become, while Saturn retrograde can help us to maximize on our pre-existing core experiences without losing what has been developed. Neptune's connection is a talent building one, that eventually opens new options as we master those skills. Since these planets all move at a slower pace, we are given some time to really hone and explore new concepts.

For the positives and the challenges, we go into this full moon feeling unbalanced. There are way too many planets transiting through feminine receptives with only two located in masculine receptives. We have to put out the extra efforts to find the balance for ourselves. The planets are heavily placed in Earth with some Water elements, which, can quickly become a mud pit or a dustbowl. Take care to not get stuck, or swept away, while attempting to get grounded in the day's activities. There's a heavier load of planets transiting in Fixed sectors of this full moon chart. Push through with caution, but don't be afraid to move at all, or we may not get a second chance to experience the options being presented with this full moon.
