The Capricorn full moon with the Sun in the last degree of Cancer can feel quite intense. The Farmer's Almanac indicates that this is the Full Buck Moon, which may have been appropriate for the northeast region of the United States, but other tribes across the country had quite different names, from Berry Moon, to Salmon Moon. It all really depended on the region and the events at this time of the year. The full moon is tied into a cradle aspect with Neptune retrograde in Pisces and Uranus in Taurus. We all seem to be dealing with unexpected and sudden shifts of events, especially while Mars was conjunct to Uranus in Taurus. Now Mars has moved out of that conjunction, and has just moved into Gemini, but there's still an out of sign connection from Mars to the full moon. We should watch carefully for communication and travel snafus. But at the same time, believe it or not, there are likely to be golden opportunities tucked into some of the mishaps. So, stay aware.

Mercury in Leo is pushing forward into a retrograde transit starting August 5 that will last until August 28. For today, Mercury is forming an out of sign square to Mars in Gemini, but an in-sign square to Uranus in Taurus. Words matter. But also, actions will matter. Hollow intentions connected with haphazard comments can undermine any trust we felt we had developed with an important person.

Venus, also in Leo, is sextile to Jupiter in Gemini. Loyalty plays an important role with the people we are trying to convince to follow our ideas. If we want to win someone's trust, we will need to show that we respect them and that they have value to us.

While Mars shifts into Gemini, now, there is a tight trine aspect to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. We can easily see through all things phony at the moment. One would say, based on all the alignments, that sincerity is truly, very important during this full moon. If it can't be real, then just don't bother wasting everyone's time.

Uranus in Taurus and Neptune retrograde in Pisces are forming a square that kicked into gear more strongly, last week. We are going to be feeling somewhat confused and unsteady about what to anticipate with unexpected situations that crop up. This is not a quick, short-term connection. We'll be feeling this strange influence well into 2025, for certain.

The out of sign sextile from Neptune retrograde in Pisces to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius also grinds on. Awareness to conditions or information that has mystified us for years, is likely to open up in unexpected ways. There will be revelations and realizations that we never expected, as well.

While this full moon is likely to feel intense in unusual ways, what we benefit from this full moon is the balance felt within the Receptives, the Elements and the Qualities. This doesn't happen very often, and when it does, we need to take advantage of feeling like, "We've got this."
