Sun is Sagittarius, 19° 52'
Moon is Gemini, 19° 52'
The full moon of December is known as the Cold Moon, and for much of the United States, it has been COLD this December.
The Sun in Sagittarius tends to highlight enthusiasm with a touch of confusion. There is so much we need to explore while not yet having a clue how to interpret what we learn. The Moon in Gemini, opposing the Sun, is pushing us to think hard on all types of information bombarding us from all directions. Some will say we are restless today, while others will consider it to be nervous energy, or the jitters. It all depends on how open we are to receiving information and our willingness to adapt, if necessary. Confusion could heighten If we are having difficulty trusting that the source is valid. The full moon is forming a T-square to Neptune in Pisces, which only seems to add more distrust. It may be difficult to determine who is being truthful. We are filled with misinformation from so many people who are unwitting parties to promoting someone else's deceit. Plus there are those who intentionally sow that deception and doubt, in order to personally gain something in return. Watch for the clues of dishonesty so as not to be drawn in.
Mercury in Sagittarius is transiting over a critical degree which, accentuates our optimism, but also contributes to swirly thought processes. We may not sleep well tonight if we don't take the time to calm the mind before heading off to bed.
Venus in Capricorn is interacting with four other planets today. There are two loose sextiles to Mars in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. This cute little triangle of planets has the potential to influence our artistic spirit. This can add a touch to charm to our interactions today in the most unusual way. But, Venus is also forming a conjunction to Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. There may be a unique intensity to the friendships we encounter today.
Mars in Scorpio, in addition to the connection to Venus, is also sextile to Saturn in Capricorn and trine to Neptune in Pisces. Another intriguing little triangle of interaction. There's the potential for starting a new project or developing a fantastic new relationship with someone that we wouldn't normally consider.
Jupiter is now in Capricorn and this will create a whole new vantage point of Capricorn that we haven't seen while Saturn and Pluto have been moving through. Jupiter will highlight matters that some individuals have been attempting to keep hidden in the basement. There will be some awful exaggerations to contend with, as well as some people's reputations will be blown out of the water. An excellent example of having one's reputation being dramatically tarnished with Jupiter's transit in Capricorn would be Richard Jewell during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. There is no irony that a movie about this event is coming out in the movie theaters now. Today, Jupiter is trine to Uranus retrograde in Taurus. Knowing when to question our intuition will come in handy today.
Rounding up this chart is the fact that there is a strong influence of feminine receptives. We are less concerned about getting ahead and more concerned with others' well being. Strength and endurance are in our toolbox and readily available when needed. The predominant element is Earth, giving us a firm foundation to work with. Working within the system is a breeze when we understand how everything works. The problems arise when some intentionally want to throw a monkey wrench into the process and then try to convince us that we are the ones causing the issues. Stop trying to placate them. It's better to politely stand firm, especially while there are so many planets in Capricorn that prefer the facts of the matter over the pretend conspiracies from a few.
Meditation for the December 12th Full Moon
All substances give the illusion of permanence, but in fact are only representations of varying states of energy.
