Sun is Sagittarius, 27° 29'
Moon is Gemini, 27° 29'

This is the last moon event of 2021, and thankfully, there is a nice balance of challenges and perks distributed throughout this chart for us. The full moon is connecting to Jupiter in Aquarius as a wedge, with a nice enhancement to relationships to others. The people we want to hang with are more likely to support our productive ideas. These last few days before the solstice tend to bring desires to explore new ideas, right up to the point of Capricorn changing our attitudes towards more practical ones. We could get tripped up by the Moon's inconjunctions to Pluto and Venus in Capricorn. Situations may seem to appear out of thin air, which can cause us to feel trapped. The positive facet to this is that it will be short lived. The after-effect may only last for a day before we are feeling back on track, as long as we don't dwell on the situation.

Mercury will finish the year with a direct motion, and that's a positive, especially for travel and shipping purposes. The transit through Capricorn can also help us with planning and preparation. Yet, there is still the potential for missed opportunities with Mercury's trine to Uranus retrograde in Taurus. Nothing that can't be fixed, but annoying, nonetheless.

The Moon started an Out of Bounds (OOB) declination transit yesterday and will continue into December 22. Mercury is transiting OOB until December 28. These transits always contribute to feelings of vulnerability while the planets transit in the extreme sectors beyond the Tropics. Add in the fact that the Sun is near its maximum declination, also considered to be "high declination" or Hidek during the Solstice. On a positive front, Venus in Capricorn is in bounds again (via declination) and that is helpful in that we may feel a little less trauma and disorientation during any potential disasters. While the disasters will still occur, our coping abilities are fluid, depending on how many planets are transiting in bounds (as in not Out of Bounds).

Venus is transiting over a critical degree of Capricorn today. Plus, Venus is transiting out of a conjunct to Pluto in Capricorn. Our relationships and financial matters may have some level of intensity to them, both due to Pluto and the critical degree placement. Potential release for frustration will typically come from using our artistic talents or craft activities at this time.

Mars in Sagittarius is also transiting over a critical degree, adding to a sense of restlessness in the middle of idealistic perspectives. It might be to our advantage to wait a few days before committing to any extreme changes.

By the end of December, Jupiter will be back into Pisces and won't be returning to Aquarius for more than a decade. Those of us who have received Jupiter rewards in Aquarius should expect changes in our luck at the start of the new year. Our sale on the Jupiter in Pisces report is ending the end of December. If you want a Jupiter report that correlates to your natal chart, check it out in the Lunar Living Orders section.

Saturn in Aquarius is square to Uranus retrograde in Taurus. This can add to feelings of insecurities and push us to make rash decisions. Friends are unlikely to be supportive of any of these decisions, for good reason. But we may not see it from their perspective.

Overall, the chart brings us some balance in that the receptive placements are equal, and the modality placements are equal. The only area that we are low is with Water elements (Neptune in Pisces) that may cause us to feel somewhat stuck or lost. But we need to look past that feeling as it will be short lived, especially once Jupiter moves into Pisces. Overall, we should feel energetic in most areas of our lives, and we have the ability to shake off any temporary feelings of depression. Ways to do that is to get outside, take a walk, enjoy the beauty of the season, or find fun activities to help us feel useful.

Happy end of the year Holidays. May your New Year be productive and successful.

Meditation for the December 19th Full Moon
Difficulties are lessons, obstacles are challenges, impossibilities are invitations.
