Sun is Gemini, 12° 34'
Moon is Gemini, 12° 34'
The Sun and Moon will connect today for the new moon in Gemini. This is considered the "non-conformist" connection, as the sign of Gemini is too busy to notice that it might be a little out of tune, or a little out of step, but just keeps doing its own thing. If we are emotionally exhausted from trying to keep up with life, there are likely to be some moments when we blurt out what ever crossed our minds. The end result may ultimately hurt another that we care about.
Mercury is without any major aspects, however is transiting Out of Bounds (OOB) until June 17th. The OOB will continue as Mercury in Gemini prepares to move into Cancer. Mercury will hit the peak of its declination on June 6 at about 25 degrees and 30 minutes, which is pretty far out there for such a short OOB transit.
Venus' transit through home territitory Taurus is almost over, already. Use the last remaining days wisely to get the most out of this transit. Venus is trine to Saturn retrograde and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn, giving us an added boost in confidence. We might make some great discoveries that others have overlooked in the past. Venus is sextile to Neptune in Pisces, which tends to assist with establishing new connections with others, or helping us to learn new skills.
Mars is also still transiting OOB as it hits the second decan of Cancer. The peak declination was yesterday at approximately 24 degrees 9 minutes. The last day of the OOB transit is June 12.
Jupiter retrograde in Sagittarius is, for the most part, done with its High Declination transit in the southern hemisphere. This will help to tone down some of the extreme behaviors that we have been exhibiting/experiencing. We are already starting to feel as though we have some control over situations. Jupiter is square to Neptune in Pisces is which can impact our ability to keep the promises that we make. Don't make a promise that we are not absolutely certain we can keep!
Saturn retrograde and the South Node are moving together today in Capricorn. This may not mean much except to those who have planets placed at 19 degrees Capricorn or Cancer. Saturn is also conjunct with Pluto retrograde, which normally have us planning up a storm. Instead, what we need to be doing is cleaning up our projects. The Pluto/Saturn conjunction is sextile to Neptune in Pisces, which may help us to advance some of our skills and creative talents. It will involve a considerable about of practice, but the skills should develop quickly in the process.
All in all, this is a nice chart layout with more balance than it looks. There are five masculine to six feminine receptive placements. At least two planets in each element but not more than four in any one element. Even the Quality placements are well placed.
This is our last new moon of the season, so make the best use possible before the Solstice later this month. July will bring us two eclipses for the solar and lunar events.
