The new moon in Gemini will feel like is has some stressor points, but that's simply to encourage us to get ourselves moving in a new direction. The new moon is forming a stellium with Venus in the sign of Gemini, while forming a square to Saturn in Pisces. The stellium will help us to approach life with a proactive mindset. We will feel like we can accomplish just about anything, if we try. The square to Saturn pushes on us by throwing up road blocks and frustrations. The key for progress will involve reassessing our options with fresh ideas. Persistence versus resistance, and none of that, try harder by doing the same thing over and over, because that's not persistence; that's insanity. If it is feeling/sounding like a broken record, then it's time to pick up the needle and move it past the defect.

Some of our opportunities will shine through from Mercury and Jupiter's conjunction in Gemini. We can absorb what we learn more easily now with Jupiter in Gemini. If we put on a few extra pounds while Jupiter was in Taurus, now is the time to explore ways to get that weight off, so that we can get some of our energy back. Not that the pounds will simply fall off, but we may find that using a mix of weight loss options, we can get back to a more manageable weight by eating a little less (or at least healthier) and moving a little more.

Mercury and Jupiter are trine to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. We are likely to make discoveries about ourselves, others, or about situations that have been perplexing to us, recently. We can use this to help us modify our attitudes or our behaviors, and use it to our advantage.

There is an out of sign sextile from Jupiter to Neptune in Pisces. Neptune is currently on the anaretic degree, pushing on the envelope of mystery and spirituality at least until September. There is always a tension and intensity involved when a planet is moving through the last degree of any sign. Neptune's foggy message is likely to cause us to experience way more confusion than clarity. Jupiter's connection is not likely to help us to solve the mysteries of the world. But it could help us to expand on our options of research.

Mars, at home in the sign of Aries for a few more days, is forming an out of sign square to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. The square will become more intense once Mars crosses over into Taurus on June 9th. It all boils down to finding outlets for our anger. We may spout off in a fit of rage, only to realize later that our anger was totally unwarranted, or even if it was warranted, we went well beyond the point of no return. Sometimes, apologies can't fix the situation, but can soften the impact a little, in order for healing to begin. Owning our actions is an important aspect of "suffering the consequences." Owning our mistakes, regardless of whether the mistakes were intentional, or not, can help us to get back on track. None of that "You Made Me" is considered to be "owning" our actions.

All in all, we are most likely to think more than act. Six planets are in Air signs with seven being placed in Mutable signs and five of those are in Gemini, meaning that we are very adaptable, but may not be so motivated. This is a great new moon for planning and strategizing. But actually delivering on those plans today is highly unlikely.
