New Moon

Sun is Gemini, 26° 43'
Moon is Gemini, 26° 43' This new moon in Gemini should (hopefully) feel like a bit of a boost after the last full moon event. There are still a few challenges involved, but, mostly, they are productive. The Sun and Moon meet up in Gemini, encouraging us to explore and try on some new adventures during this Father's Day, leading into Juneteenth. The new moon is forming a square to Neptune in Pisces, pushing us to be more objective in our observations for today. Mercury, also in Gemini, is feeling right at home, helping us to use this influence to problem solve by utilizing our natural curiosity. It will be a "think outside the box" type of day, as Mercury is forming sextiles to both Venus and Mars in Leo. Mercury is also forming a square to Saturn retrograde in Pisces. This gives us an edge on analyzing as long as we don't hang onto any negativity that might be attached to the situation. Venus in Leo is conjunct and waxing into that conjunction with Marx, meaning that it is something we will carry with us for a few days. This definitely pumps us up in the passion department. Even if it is not romance related, we find that we are feeling motivated to learn more about someone or something. Venus is moving out of a square to Jupiter in Taurus. This connection bears extra significance because Jupiter is in a sign that Venus rules, adding weight on us to tie importance to matters culmination from it. We may find ourselves ruminating about someone that we thought we knew better, wished we knew better, or recently left, and wondering if we made the right choice. The key is to not fantasize the relationship. Mars in Leo is forming a square to Uranus in Taurus. We may impulsively react to circumstances or situations that cause us to feel frustrated, regardless of how frivolous or trivial the significance. This should, probably, be one of those "forget about it" moments. Let it go so that the day doesn't turn into a shambles over a minor offence. Jupiter in Taurus is forming a sextile to Saturn retrograde in Pisces. Believe it or not, this one may become too much of a good thing. Saturn's retrograde motion softens the "taskmaster's" influence, and Jupiter, wanting to expand on anything and everything, tends to throw common sense out the window, whenever there is that opportunity. The outcome may result in an over indulgence of something, today. With Pluto retrograde moving back into the sign of Capricorn, and on the 29th degree, the sextile between Neptune in Pisces to Pluto, carries more power. There is a mystical component to this sextile, as we rely more on our "emotional intuition" and less on our logic. The best use of this aspect is to tie the science to the mystery to help prove the point. Be careful not to rely on junk science or word of mouth. Just because we can find others who agree with our perspective, that does not mean it's valid, especially if it involves social media. Overall, the Gemini new moon chart is very balanced. There are five placements in both of the receptive signs, and a nice balance in each of the element signs. The one area that is on the low side involves the qualities. There is only one placement in the Cardinal signs, meaning that we are less motivated to move forward on projects that are important. With five placements in the Mutable quality signs, we have the ability to move forward, regardless, by using the focus and concentration that can build through determination. In fact, in the larger scheme of things, any two events linked by a consciousness are happening synchronously.
