Sun is Cancer, 2° 47'
Moon is Cancer, 2° 47'

This new moon is still early in the sign of Cancer, adding an intense desire to connect with family and solidify our familial bonds. We may make a few mistakes in our efforts to say the right words, but it is our persistence to stay connected being the actions that are remembered in the long run. If we have distanced ourselves from family members, now is a good time to reconnect to restart the building of bonds. With the new moon conjunct to Mercury, and sextile to Uranus in Aries, be ready for a few internal squabbles between our mind and emotions. We may swing in and out of depression or anxiety that can cause extreme confusion as to what direction to turn. Meditation might help. But, if the sadness that we feel is so overwhelming, this is a time to reach out for help rather than suffering any longer.

Venus is right at home in the sign of Taurus. Our love for arts and beauty is likely to be stronger than usual. We may also spend more money on items that we may not really need. Venus is sextile to Neptune retrograde in Pisces and trine to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. Neptune and Pluto can tie up the loose ends with the sextile. This adds an intuitive component to the transits. These connections can enhance our relationships with those we love. Now is a good time to explore ways to improve our interactions with those we love as we begin to better understand each other.

Mars in Cancer is finishing up its Out of Bounds transit. Some of the chaos that we have dealt with over the past month is going to settle into a dull roar, but we will still need to explore better options in the process. We have learned a lot about ourselves and our reactions to events, while Mars was transiting Out of Bounds. Mars is square to Jupiter in Libra, and trine to Neptune retrograde in Pisces. This is a great time to explore the underbelly of our decisions so that we learn from them.

Jupiter's transit in Libra is moving through a critical degree for a few days as we develop a better sense of our individual needs while connecting with those we love or are partnered to.

Saturn in Sagittarius is retrograde for two more months. We may not be able to rein in our impulses as well as we feel we should. This is a learning process as we learn about stabilizing our restless urges, while exploring ways to optimize our patience. Saturn is trine Uranus in Aries.

This new moon chart is infused with extra feminine placements that help us to work harder and complain less, as we demonstrate our strengths and abilities to others. There are six placements in the Water elements that add to our fluidity to understanding our own needs while reaching out to help others. What we may lack is some of our intrinsic communication skills, with only one Air placement with this chart. This chart is also very strong willed with seven Cardinal placements, that have us feeling like natural leaders. The key is to listen, and not blindly direct or have unrealistic expectations of others.
