Sun is Cancer, 28° 27'
Moon is Cancer, 28° 27'

Here we are now, on the other side of those three eclipses and wondering what we were supposed to learn from that. Interesting that this chart is the new moon opposing Saturn's retrograde in Capricorn, with a loose opposition to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn, as well. Remember, that Saturn's role is taskmaster. Saturn rewards us when we are "doing the right thing." Even in retrograde, there is a level of responsibility that we are supposed to adhere to from Saturn's perspective. Granted, less rigid during this period, but still we are expected to learn how to "do it right." Now some might think that this means we need to comply with the rules of government, or something. But Saturn's rule of law has little to do with any earthly governmental rules. These are humanity governed rules. Learning how to treat and interact with others in a way that compliments both sides. Saturn encourages us to take responsibility for our own actions within our environments, to honor nature, and those rules, as well. When we figure out those pieces within our lives, Saturn is totally ready to hand out that prized reward.

This new moon in Cancer encourages us to think in terms of family and home. Our emotions tend to be more alert and closer to the surface. Now is not the time to stuff those emotions back down, but instead to explore WHY we are feeling as we do. Emotions are not the enemy here. It's how we "control" them (or not) that gets us into trouble. The loose opposition to Pluto retrograde pushes on us to stop trying to control others. Instead find ways to navigate around others that might be offensive to us. It is not our role to change how others think or act.

That Mercury retrograde certainly seemed to be tedious and longer than it really was. Note to Self - Mercury Retrograde during Pandemic is not fun. Now that Mercury in Cancer is heading direct again, Mercury is forming a square to Mars in Aries and a Sextile to Uranus in Taurus. Another interesting facet to this is the fact that Venus in Gemini is forming similar and overlapping connections to Mars in Aries and Neptune retrograde in Pisces. This connects all these planets; Mercury, Venus, Mars, Uranus and Neptune. Focus more on the signs, than the planets. Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini and Cancer. Humanity, Self, Security, Communication, and Home. Pretty awesome combination there, in truth, in the middle of all that we are currently going through! Rather than belabor the message that seems pretty obvious, let's move on.

Jupiter retrograde and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn are still connected with a conjunction. Jupiter's message is screaming from the mountain tops in the sign of the Sea Goat while Pluto slowly keeps chipping away to destroy old ineffective practices that require change. Our desire to go back to "old ways" just isn't going to happen under Pluto's transformative eye.

Jupiter and Pluto are also tapping into Neptune retrograde in Pisces. Remember the earlier comment about Humanity to Home signs? Yes, Capricorn's connection is added into that message. So let's add that in now. Respect, Humanity, Self, Security, Communication, and Home. The message pretty much wraps up this entire chart.

Overall, the preponderance of planetary placements are in feminine receptive signs; Taurus, Cancer, Capricorn, and Pisces. Yes, the masculine sounding Capricorn and Taurus are both feminine receptives. The Feminine receptive signs are a combination of Earth and Water element signs. This makes us particularly sensitive to the messages around us. The question being, what do we plan to do with those messages? The majority of the planets are in Cardinal signs, which are action oriented to change. It may not be the change we would wish for ourselves, but as a collective mass, there will be a clear "winner" after it is all said and done.
