Sun is Virgo, 25° 01'
Moon is Virgo, 25° 01'
Huge Apologies everyone. I know how significant the new moon is and I am late with my post. There have been wildfires near my home for the past week. Until a couple of days ago, my home was in the evacuation zone. Add to that, one of my beloved pets transitioned and we buried her near her favorite spot. Guess I was distracted more than I realized. I seemed to be thinking that the new moon was on the 19th, when something caught my attention and brought me back to reality. Sorry!
The Sun and Moon join up today in Virgo to accentuate our desires for everything to be organized and clarified. There are no other planets in Virgo so these two are on their own to work through these feelings.
The new moon is trine to Saturn retrograde and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. The fact that both planets are retrograde does not help us as much as we would like. However, we are better able to "roll with it" whatever bubbles up from this interaction. The drawbacks are that we may have unrealistic expectations from others. We need to remember that we cannot control how others feel or their actions. We need to find peace with that and focus on our own actions/reactions.
Mercury is transiting in Libra and we are likely to be more curious about how others think about various matters. We want to be fair with our opinions. We also want to rise above judgments. At the same time, we may be somewhat indecisive because, in truth, we don't want to be wrong. Mercury in Libra is a good time to be thinking about contracts and legal issues. Mercury will move into Scorpio on September 27th. Gentle reminder, Mercury retrograde will begin on October 14. Get those contracts and negotiations finalized before October 14. Today, Mercury is square to Jupiter and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. Dream big but keep it real to get the most out of those opportunities. Secrets that we have been able to hide may get revealed this week.
Venus in Leo helps us to find creative opportunities involving children and romantic endeavors. We are more expressive to those we trust. At the same time, be careful about what you share with someone you trust at the moment. Venus is square to Uranus retrograde in Taurus. There are unexpected twists within our relationships that could catch us off guard.
Mars began a retrograde transit on September 9 in Aries that will last until November 14. There is a sense of impatience with this transit. We may feel repressed or insulted by others that we think have control over our situations. We definitely need to think about our life's station and come to terms with the impact it is having. We have more control than we realize, but acting impulsively or vindictively will not work to our benefit. Mars retrograde is square to Pluto retrograde and Saturn retrograde in Capricorn. Add in a whole lot of resentment and indignation, and we begin to develop a festering wound that won't heal until we get on the path to the Three As; Adapt, Accept, and Adjust. Don't be afraid to grieve the loss of what once was, and find relief in changes that will come from that grief. Mars is that planet that wants CONTROL. But not all things in our life can be controlled.
Jupiter's retrograde motion in Capricorn ended on September 13 and now, all things Jupiter are going to expand and multiply. Remember, Jupiter does not just expand on the "good things" in life. The difficult points can also swell, just as quickly. But the opportunities that Jupiter will highlight for us will be easier to find. Jupiter is sextile to Neptune retrograde in Pisces. Be careful of intuition as it may play tricks on us in ways we don't anticipate. Don't confuse intuition for wisdom.
All in all, the chart is still heavier with feminine receptive placements, but with mostly Earth elements. We don't want to accept change right now. We want life to be what it used to be. On the plus side is our ability to accomplish a lot and to endure the difficulties that are thrown in our direction. Our strength is not in our physical abilities, but in our emotional outlook to find the resources necessary to muddle through the challenges.
There is more balance in this new moon chart, helping us in ways that we don't typically acknowledge. It's a team-work type of new moon. Let's help one another.
