Hey, let's all be thankful that Uranus is transiting retrograde at the moment. Uranus in Taurus is being directly opposed by the new moon in Scorpio. While Uranus transits retrograde, the influence is slightly subdued, but there can still be the "pow" effect, especially if we have other planets in our chart that aspects either Uranus or the new moon. Terms that frequently get associated to Uranus are eccentric, quirky, impulsive, detached and sudden. Of course, terms that are frequently associated with the new moon in Scorpio are aware of the mysterious, vaguely sensitive, strong-willed, jealous and vengeful. The question here is "do we act on these" or "do we explore these"? The opposition to Uranus has the potential of tripping us up, and causing us to act while in the process of exploring. The nature of the "trip" is likely to be indicated by the houses that the new moon and Uranus are transiting in your natal chart.
Mercury in Scorpio is slowing down in preparation for the station retrograde on October 31. During the slow down, Venus in Scorpio has caught up to form another conjunction. The question being, are we talking ourselves into something, or out of? The Scorpio influence on Mercury is to experience many private thoughts. These might be old memories triggered by a recent event, or they might be new thoughts that we have not yet explored. We are also able to size up situations that others are presenting to us. We should probably hold those thoughts and not use them to hurt others at this time. Mercury's retrograde could come back to haunt us if we misuse these thoughts.
Venus in Scorpio is waning out of a sextile to Pluto in Capricorn. Shaky relationships and financial matters may not be shaping up as we would like as Pluto has a tendency to tank (put an end to) matters that are on unstable ground. Next month, as Venus is transiting through Sagittarius, it will begin to push Out of Bounds (OOB) and we are likely to have a difficult time with events that hit us suddenly. It will exacerbate the Mercury retrograde effect. We can talk more about it during the next full moon piece.
Mars in Libra is forming an exact square to Saturn in Capricorn while waxing into a square with Pluto. There is the potential for frustrations fomenting. While Mars is moving through Libra, we just want to explore relationships, or encounter others that we perceive as our equals, that whet our appetite. But Saturn and Pluto are pushing back at us to not put the cart in front of the horses in this regard. We may be coming across too strong, causing others to resent us. In other words, others may not see us as equals and try to block us.
As we all know, Jupiter is right at home in Sagittarius, and is wrapping up the Sagittarius transit on December 2nd. Now that Jupiter has moved past the square to Neptune, events should be a bit easier to deal with, but we don't have much time left before Jupiter ingresses Capricorn. If you want to know how Jupiter is going to impact you, personally, this next year, while transiting Capricorn, this is a great time to get the Jupiter in Capricorn transit report at the Lunar Living Report Store. This report sale will last through November, 2019.
Saturn in Capricorn is gradually waxing back into a conjunction with Pluto which will become exact in January, 2020. The extended influence of this conjunction will build over the next few months, pushing us to change bad habits, end unhealthy situations, and helping us to gain control over our lives. Let's not confuse this with gaining control over others. That's not what it means. If we are trying to do that, we need to examine what is going on within ourselves that wants us to take power away from others.
Saturn is forming an exact sextile to Neptune retrograde in Pisces along with Pluto. Strategies and planning may be enhanced if we factor in our creative side. Dreams may help with this process. Pluto may expect us to tear down old, ineffective ideas, first.
Overall, we are likely to feel a bit rocked as we try to navigate with new ideas while trying to be open to the changes. The chart is heavy with feminine receptives, encouraging us to nurture and take comfort in our own abilities. Pushing others into new ideas is not our responsibility. Leading by example is the better option. This chart is heavy with Earth and Water element placements, that can be used to form better situations. Despite all the Fixed mode placements, change is inevitable, but we don't need to let go of the good aspects in our lives, in order to accept the new ones.
Meditation for the October 28th New Moon
Learning when to let go and allow things to happen on their own is indeed a practiced art.
