Sun is Scorpio, 12° 40'
Moon is Scorpio, 12° 40'
The new moon in Scorpio may bring more challenges than we want. But, on the plus side, these challenges could spur us into new options. The Moon and Sun are opposing Uranus retrograde in Taurus. We may want to wallow in our own frustrations. Not the best use of time, but we may do it, nonetheless. Scorpio tends to get "in our heads" when there are obstacles, so use that time to do some research and/or allow ourselves the time to contemplate options. There will be no urgency in making decisions with this new moon. We are starting to feel the influences from the next Lunar Eclipse. We need to stop making assumptions and let events unfold without any expectations.
Mercury in Libra is forming a sextile to Venus in Sagittarius, and a square to Pluto in Capricorn. Both aspects, together, we may feel frustration and want to lash out, but we have the option to release our pent-up feelings through our skills and talents, be it music, sports, or more crafty outlets.
Venus is transiting over the Anaretic degree of Sagittarius today, while still transiting Out of Bounds until December 7th. Venus is forming an out of sign sextile to Mars in Scorpio. We will feel the influence more after Venus ingresses Capricorn (Dec 5) and the aspect will become more viable. Our interactions with others will feel more natural after that ingress is complete.
Mars in Scorpio is forming a square to Saturn in Aquarius. Mars influences tend to be more passionate when transiting through its home sign of Scorpio. We may be more blunt in our approach, and there can be an obsession component when Mars is in Scorpio. That does not necessarily mean that we will be more obsessed with someone, but we may become more intensively interested in something occurring in our lives. The connection with Saturn may amplify our resentment towards a personal trait that we don't like about ourselves, or against someone else or something going on that is impacting us personally. Try to step over these feelings since, in the grand scheme of life, they are insignificant.
The Moon's Out of Bounds (OOB) transit will begin on November 6, and end on November 10. Factor in the Venus OOB transit that we are more likely to experience events that cause us to feel insecure and vulnerable. These OOB periods can also trigger memories of past traumas and send us into a difficult time with those past recollections.
Most of the planetary placements are in the feminine receptive signs, predominantly in the Water Element signs. We have the ability to transform something for ourselves during this new moon but we need to rise above the difficulties that will feel like stumbling blocks first. It likely will involve some emotionally difficult changes in our attitudes, but could be well worth the effort once we figure it out.
