Apologies in advance for any typos or minor errors. The eclipses have been impacting my life and my computer's processor is dying. So I'm typing this report on my old laptop which is less than efficient, but a way to get the report out to you on time.

This solar eclipse saros series 144 in the sign of Libra originated in 1736, and is associated with the 8th nodal family. This eclipse is an annular eclipse that will be visible over portions of South America. The first eclipse of this series occurred at 21 degrees Aries, ruled by the planet Mars, with the decan and duad in Sagittarius sub ruled by Jupiter. The natural headstrong Aries influence is expanded on by Jupiter which is present in each of the subsequent Saros 144 events. The Libra influence of today's eclipse is opposing the origination eclipse of Aries which may try to downplay some of the pushy dramatics. Adding in the conjunction with Mercury in Libra, our thoughts are geared for logic as a way to placate others around us. We should be able to charm our way out of a difficult situation, or perhaps others are feeling more forgiving today, considering the stellium of the personal planets is forming a square to Mars in Cancer.

Mars in Cancer is tied into a grand trine with Venus in Scorpio and Saturn retrograde in Pisces. There's a nice blending of characteristics with the Water elements giving us flexibility and the capability to release old grudges. Venus in Scorpio adds some unique perspectives on relationships and on ways of increasing our monetary situation. Scorpio helps us to be more comfortable with cutting back on some of our usual expenses in order to use those funds in another way. We can find ways to be more independent while Venus transits Scorpio. Add in the Mars in Cancer factor, we are likely to experience some mental health issues that need our attention, and both Venus and Saturn will endorse the importance of receiving assistance if we are discovering that our health is in a downward spiral. If friends and family are expressing their concern, that's a good indicator that this is the time to seek out some help. Saturn's retrograde in Pisces is less supportive than we would like, in that it may feel like we are not finding solutions as quickly as we expect.

Neptune retrograde in Pisces is the sextile apex to a trine between Uranus retrograde in Taurus and Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. All three are proactively aligned in corresponding signs to help us to make better use of this double sextile with trine connection. However, because these are generational planets, it may not feel productive in the way we hope for. These aspects are more effective for societal change, and less effective for individuals. On the other hand, we will begin to notice subtle changes for our lifestyles

Eclipses always involve change in our lives. Some change is the type that we can control. What we will discover about this eclipse is that the change we experience will be beyond our direct control, and the only facet of the change that we have a choice about is how we decide to respond to it. Choose the response carefully, as the ramifications of our actions will dictate how our future will turn out. In other words, not all "rewards" are rewarding and positive. Some rewards are directly tied to learning a lesson. Many of us will be less than thrilled with the outcome of this change. Finding a healthy and productive release to our frustrations during this new moon's eclipse will be our relief valve. As with all eclipses, we start to notice the effects about a month before, and continue to feel them for about a month afterwards. Then life settles back down and we can begin to settle into the change.
