Full Moon
in: Leo 24° February 12, 2025 @ 01:53 pm GMT February 12, 2025 @ 05:53 am PST -8
Sun is Aquarius, 24° 06'
Moon is Leo, 24° 06' The February Full Moon is sometimes known as the Snowy Moon as we finish up the winter months. (Of course, in the southern hemisphere, it is summer time.) Regardless of which hemisphere we are on, this full moon is likely to bring out some challenges for us to face. The Sun, in Aquarius is conjunct with Mercury, while opposing the Moon in Leo, and forming a T-square to Uranus in Taurus. Sudden shifts or unexpected events may push us to our emotional limits. Expect these events to unfold more in March, as the eclipses will accentuate our frustrations. Working our way through the challenges will give us more control than sitting around waiting for something better to come along. Venus in Aries is moving away from a sextile to Pluto in Aquarius. This connection could inspire us to make new friends and find people who understand us better. At least on the short term, we feel the need to explore the changes that we've recently been experiencing. Look for ways to make money in unusual ways, whether that means selling off items we no longer use, or cutting back on expenses that are no longer useful. Mars retrograde in Cancer is trine to Saturn in Pisces. The retrograde motion of Mars through Cancer can feel quite frustrating, especially if we don't feel as though our true needs are being met. What we fail to realize at this time, is that our needs can't be met by others. That needs to come from within ourselves. The trine to Saturn can give us some focus to get back on track. Saturn in Pisces can also feel somewhat frustrating until we get into the ebbs and flows of the Pisces influence. Our own fears and fantasies may not be easily resolved until we figure out how to reinterpret our past experiences into today's realities. Pisces seems to have a way of causing us to replay the bad memories on a less than useful loop. Saturn's current placement in Pisces is accentuated with feelings of gloom and doom. We will need to over-power those feelings in order to find more solid footing. Saturn is the “do over” planet, that we can embrace, if we want to find better solutions to our current situations. All in all, the placements of the planets during this full moon can be utilized to change the outcomes. Although there is only one Earth Element placement (Uranus in Taurus), there are five planets in Fixed signs, that can help us to reassess, resolve, and stick with necessary changes as we head into the upcoming eclipses. Without breakdown and decay there would be no rejuvenation.
