Sun is Scorpio, 2° 46'
Moon is Taurus, 2° 46'

This Full Taurus Moon is also known as the Hunter Moon, as it is the full moon that follows the annual Harvest Moon. In the northern hemisphere, we are leaning into the fall months, with less sunlight during the day, and cooler temperatures at night. This particular moon event may bring us some challenges with a boomerang and also a couple of t-square aspects connecting to the Sun and Moon.

Let's look at the t-squares first before focusing in on the boomerang. The primary and most significant t-square is the Sun in Scorpio, the Moon in Taurus and Pluto, no longer retrograde, in Aquarius. These three planets are all "in sign" connections that add significance to the aspect. T-square influences are typically challenging, pushing on us to work through the situation or risk losing all the momentum we have gained up to this point. We are likely to be confronted with expectations. We may be expected to be the grown-up in the room, so to speak. Finding solutions, or at the very least, accepting a loss that we don't want. The other t-square is an out of sign aspect pattern involving Vemis retrograde in Libra, Chiron retrograde in Aries, to Pluto in Aquarius. The influences from this one are less significant, but are likely to be more confusing because of the fact that the three planets are not lined up in lockstep, like the other t-square with the Sun and Moon. Venus' retrograde in the anaretic degree, however, could cause us to think this one is more serious, simply because of the anxiety factor connected to this one. The Venus and Chiron traits in this one are likely to feel like rehashing of old wounds, likely involving a prior relationship, or a financial situation that comes back to haunt us. The main difference is that the first (Sun, Moon and Pluto) t-square is likely to be externalized, while the second t-square (Venus, Chiron and Pluto) is likely to be internalized. Deal with the externalized challenges first.

Now, for the boomerang. The Sun in Scorpio is at the apex of a yod involving Neptune retrograde in Aries and Uranus retrograde in Gemini. At the same time, the Sun and Moon are in the middle of all this, indicating that we are likely to be expected to shift directions. It may be that we are needing to let go of a project that has been important to us. We might be forced to abandon something in our life that we have, until now, been able to rely on as a consistent anchor. Look to the house that the Sun is currently transiting in the natal chart, to get a better sense of the type of attention that should be directed in order to give more clarity. For example, the transiting Sun in our first house might indicate that we need to pay more attention on ourselves, while the transiting Sun in our seventh house might suggest that we need to pay more attention to our partner or significant other. The Moon, on the other hand, acts as the guide in all this. The opposing house, where the Moon is transiting, gives us the ability to reflect and utilize that house's influence to navigate through the situation. The key is to stay calm. Over reactions or panic will only make matters more difficult.

One more challenge we will need to prepare for is the Mercury retrograde in Scorpio square aspect to Jupiter in Leo. This one is likely to be more of a psychological hurdle. Mercury's retrograde interferes in our ability to assess situations. We may face a conundrum with an illogical approach. We may not feel as though we have a good handle on understanding what is expected of us, or we may try to resolve the problem without truly comprehending the importance of it. In other words, don't assume that the resolution will be easy. This one may be best dealt with in steps. Try to break the solution into incremental objectives that can be reflected on over time. Mercury retrograde is up to its typical trickery.

Yes, there are many retrograde planets in this chart. Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, and Neptune are all transiting in retrograde motion, causing us to feel weighted down. No easy solutions. Factor in the need for time and patience. Sometimes, silence is a helpful component, as well. Ironically, Pluto has finished moving backwards, but the other planets definitely make up for that.

The ongoing trine between Uranus retrograde in Gemini to Pluto in Aquarius, while both are sextile to Neptune retrograde in Aries is less of a personal adjustment and more of a global, cultural, or generational shift of awareness. Not much that we can do at a personal level without uniting with others who share our personal perspective. Just be aware that the "loudest" voices may not be leading the way, or even be the majority, but are just attempting to take control by being loud. Unity it always the stronger ally, as long as the allies are human and not bots.

The planetary placements during this full moon are encouraging us to express ourselves with forethought and boldly. Chaos will not work in our favor. We need to take a moment to sort out our message before expecting to be heard/understood. This full moon will hinder or cloud commonality, so others may misinterpret our needs. We may need to be persistent when asking others for help. Others may simply not have the energy to help us out and we may need to look for help from multiple resources. The Element sign placements in this chart are low in Earth and Water, reducing our intuitive abilities. The chart does reveal that there are a lot of Fixed placements, indicating that we still have a lot of tenacity and determination to keep trying to find our best options.
