After that last Cancer full moon, life should start to settle down and feel as though we are getting back on track. For some of us, it felt like the rug was getting pulled out from underneath our feet. But, thankfully, it was a short lived feeling, and this new moon is bringing in some really nice new social facets. Aquarius new moon has a way of helping us to feel like connecting with friends who we trust to have our backs. Also, we may be meeting some new people that we can vibe with. The new moon is transiting over a critical degree in Aquarius, making life a bit more unpredictable, but at the same time it should feel fresh rather than scary. The new moon is trine to Jupiter retrograde in Gemini, supplementing our interests to learn new talents, or at the very least, new facts that can help us to expand our knowledge.

Mercury and Pluto are conjunct in Aquarius, also. We should be able to suss out any false information, and make a productive decision based on true facts. We just need to let go of the fallacies that we may have attached with our prior decisions. In other words, we need to be open to the fact that others like to mislead us in order to maintain their power over our decisions. It's not as easy as it sounds to let go of the biases based on misinformation. Finding the facts will be the easiest part, today, but the rest may be our stumbling block to reality. Do the research rather than simply believing.

Venus in Pisces is conjunct with Neptune which has the potential to confuse our feelings with fantasies. On the positive side, our creative side will have more opportunities to expand on our talents and develop new perspectives. Similar to Mercury and Pluto's conjunction, we will need to face some reality in order to expand on our knowledge. The key is to discern the fact from the fiction and then let go of the fiction so that we can move through this next year with better judgment. Venus and Neptune are sextile to Uranus retrograde in Taurus, and trine to Mars retrograde in Cancer. Be wary of another's aggression or sudden shifts in attitudes so that they don't end up steering us away from making our own best decisions. Thankfully, we have the planets lined up to help us, if we will trust our instincts.

During this new moon, the Masculine signs are all in the Air Element (Gemini and Aquarius), giving us flexibility, but may lack some of the drive that we need to push forward. Adaptability will be our super power in this new moon. But the Feminine signs may end up holding us on point during this new moon. Just try not to get stuck in a rut and remember to own our choices so that we know that we have control over our decisions. Detach from old and out dated ideas in order to find better solutions for our future.
