The Pisces new moon may bring some mystery and spiritual events for us to investigate. The traits of Pisces are more intuitive, emotionally sensitive, and self-sacrificing, giving us opportunities to heal from past traumas, if we are brave enough to explore them in depth. The new moon is square to Jupiter in Gemini pushing ahead through old retrograde territory. We may encounter some challenges if we are expecting too much from any given situation. We may need to curb some of our impulses and tamp down our expectations to avoid potential blow-backs. Jupiter's square to a new moon can culminate into a negative “reap what was sown” situation.

Mercury in Pisces is pushing into a conjunction with Neptune while leaving a conjunction to Saturn (all in Pisces). We may feel somewhat confused as to what to expect from others, but at the same time, we seem to have great insight for our own destinations. Focus less on what others expect from us, and more on facing new realities that are being presented. This is a time of transition, and we will need to adapt in order to get the most out of the changing scenario.

Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune are forming a soft sextile to Uranus in Taurus which may amplify our feelings of shock and alarm when life-style shifts are forced upon us. Thankfully, we have the skills to adjust, even though, initially, we will want to resist. We may discover that we will need to cut back in some areas of our lives in order to have the necessary resources to move forward with new momentum.

Venus, in Aries, might leave us feeling excited for change, until we quickly discover that we want those changes only on our terms. The sextile from Venus to Jupiter in Gemini can put us into a problem solving mode by asking for opinions and being open to different ideas rather than hiding inside our own self-regulated bubble. It can be difficult, but ultimately very rewarding to explore the options that get presented.

Mars in Cancer is motioning direct again. We may feel unstable until the end of April as we seem to wobble forward slowly, trying to get our feet planted more firmly. On the plus side is the trine from Mars to Saturn in Pisces. We seem to have no problem restarting some projects in order to meet our new goals that we discovered were needed while Mars was in retrograde motion. Use this time to explore without expectations of outcomes until Mars moves back into Leo in a couple of months.

Overall, this new moon is likely to push on us in ways we don't expect. Our desire for change may not match up with our actual need for change. That whole Want vs. Need situation is always more difficult than we anticipate. This is a great time to contemplate our options, envisioning different outcomes to emotionally and mentally prepare for the inevitable transformation that will happen, no matter how hard we resist.
