New Moon
in: Cancer 4° June 25, 2025 @ 10:31 am GMT June 25, 2025 @ 03:31 am PDT -7
Sun is Cancer, 4° 08'
Moon is Cancer, 4° 08' This new moon will be a lot less challenging than the last full moon, but there will still be some curves we will need to navigate to get the most out of this day. Note that there are five quincunx aspects, and most are connected to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Mars in Virgo is also the apex of a yod as the fastest moving planet of the other two quincunx/inconjunct aspects to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius and Neptune in Aries. This indicates that we will need to use some caution until the moon meets up at this point in a few days (29th of June) to help us to sort out the yod's message. Let's talk more about that in a bit. For now, let's look at the new moon's stellium with Jupiter in Cancer. These three are quincunx to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, challenging us to rethink how we define family, home, childhood memories and how we deal with our emotions. Pluto has a way of letting us know when it is time to change up our belief systems and values. We may find that we are not coping well with our old systems. Now, let's also look at the squares to the new moon stellium from Neptune and Saturn in Aries. Saturn, of course, wants us to do the right things and make the best choices, while Neptune wants us to tap into our core to explore our spiritual beliefs, and/or our fantasies. This may not go well, as we are likely to feel uncomfortable with what we see or experience. Plus, there is the new moon's stellium with sextiles over to Mars in Virgo. This, on the surface, looks like three yods with Pluto at the apex, but it can't be used as a harbinger of information in the same way as Mars' point connected to Neptune and Pluto. On the other hand, while it isn't a "timed" message, it is still challenging us to rethink our life-style, our expectations, and our personal values. Sitting with the information may not come easily for us, as there may not yet be a support system or network to help us sort through the facts and the reality that are about to wash over us. We may need to stumble through this on our own until we can find others who understand it. So, granted, while the previous full moon's challenges were actually more difficult, physically and psychologically, this new moon will hit us harder emotionally and personally in an effort to help us move away from negative behaviors. The productive planets for helping us with this will be Mercury in Cancer, sextile to Uranus in Taurus. Also, Mercury is trine to Saturn and Neptune in Aries, but in an out of sign way. The positive factors involve our ability to find resources, find helpful information, and locate options that we didn't realize existed until we learned more about our current situation. Plus, Pluto's retrograde sextiles to Saturn and Neptune in Aries can help connect us to support figures that we didn't know about before now. We may need some time to sort through all this, as it will not be easy to just trust the first people with resources that we meet. We need to use caution, anyway, since not everyone that we encounter is going to be the right fit for what we need. Pluto's nature is not discerning in that way. But here is where we start to look at the yod from Pluto retrograde in Aquarius, and Neptune in Aries, over to Mars in Virgo. Mars' placement in this yod acts as a timer. The clock will be ticking away from this new moon until the Moon moves over the fourth degree of Virgo on June 29th. The answer to our question that we encounter during this new moon is most likely to be revealed to us around the last day of June. For each of us, the message and the answer will be different. Looking into our own charts, find the house that contains 4° Virgo. Plus, we might want to mark this date on our calendars. This will help guide us for the answer to become more clear. As the Moon moves through the house that holds that place in our chart, we are likely to connect our needs for fixing the issues that are concerning us, particularly with this new moon. Basically, this new moon will be working on our inward thoughts and behaviors that cause us to feel maladjusted, so to speak. We all have them, no matter how hard we pretend we don't. Now is a good time to work on the positive strengths and abilities we possess in order to feel more comfortable with them while the new moon teaches us about determination through adaptation. Thinking proactively can get us through most of the frustrations we are likely to feel today. Don't be surprised if there are a few tears expressed today, as we try to release some of those frustrations in order to get back on track. The main objective is to find healthier ways to change and manifest long-term productive change, from within. Meditation for the June 25th New Moon
The most amazing place you will ever be in your life is where you are right now.
