The March Equinox for the Northern Hemisphere is the start of spring, and in the Southern, the start of autumn. The Sun moves into Aries, giving us an energy boost. We need to be careful to channel this extra energy so that we don't waste opportunities.

Sun is joining up with Saturn and Neptune which are already in Aries, and helping us to tap into those existing influences. Saturn helps us to find work arounds to challenges, while Neptune helps us to dream up new ideas. The Sun is sextile to Pluto in Aquarius, helping us to let go of out dated concepts. The sextile to Uranus in Taurus is less significant because the sextile influence is watered down until Uranus re-enters Gemini the end of April.

Mercury retrograde and Mars in Pisces could have us feeling indecisive but motivated to accomplish something. Deciding on where to focus may not come easily. Mars could have us spinning our wheels without a proper outlet. Mercury is finishing up the retrograde motion today. Mercury won't station retrograde again until the end of June.

Venus and the Moon are conjunct in Aries while square to Jupiter in Cancer, triggering old memories while wrestling with aggressive thoughts. Finding resolution without violence is the key to maximizing our ability to move on without needing to look back any longer on these feelings.

Eight of the planets are divided up in either Fire or Water Element signs, with only one in Earth and one in Air. Granted, there is some balance with these two strong Elements, but we may tire easily without having much support from Air and Earth. The best chair has four legs, the next best has three legs, and, well, those two-leg support systems require more vigorous balance techniques to stay upright for long periods. With that in mind, remember to find ways to rest and rejuvenate this season with awareness so that we don't burn out before the next season arrives.
