Full Moon
in: Leo 16° February 5, 2023 @ 6:30 p.m. GMT February 5, 2023 @ 10:30 a.m. PST -8
Sun is Aquarius, 16° 37'
Moon is Leo, 16° 37' The full moon in February is traditionally called the Snow Moon. The Sun is transiting through Aquarius, lending some unique traits that are likely to bubble up to the surface. Seems like some portions of our personality can be hidden throughout the year, until some personal planet moves through Aquarius, accentuating features that we normally want to keep to ourselves. The Moon in Leo, of course, is focused on our talents, skills, and our offspring. From the full moon's opposition is a t-square to Uranus in Taurus. Our "quirks" are likely to cause us some extra challenges today. A good day to embrace them, because everyone is going to be observing them today. Also be careful about accidents and distractions. Mercury in Capricorn is working to catch back up with the Sun, once again. Mercury is sextile to Neptune in Pisces. We may be all up in our heads today. A great day to journal our thoughts because in a few weeks, we should be able to put some of these thoughts into action. Venus in Pisces is forming a square to Mars in Gemini, and a sextile to Uranus in Taurus. Uh-oh... there may be some relationship rifts that we will need to address. We may get distracted with Venus' connection with Uranus, and fail to realize that we have hurt someone's feelings. The placement in Pisces is not the most upbeat. This portion (decan) of Pisces is ruled by the Moon and we may be going to a pity party instead enjoying our creative side from those Venusian influences as Venus first entered Pisces. Mars in Gemini is finishing up with a sextile to Jupiter. If we find the right environment today, we find some fun with others who can match our wit. This could be a great day to spend with friends involving sports, mental games, or trivia. It's not a day to take things too seriously, since there is also the potential to "say the wrong thing" to the wrong person. This is a "no retrograde planet" day. Can't count the nodes because they are not planets and they are almost always retrograde. No retrograde planets until April. Great time to get some projects done without having to worry how some of the retrogrades will impact our efforts. The really nice feature about this chart is that there is a nice balance between all the planetary placements. An equal number of masculine and feminine receptives, a great disbursement of planets in each of the elements, and great set up between each of the qualities. This balance will help us make some head way, even with any challenges that we encounter. The day is set up for us to succeed, if we choose to utilize the opportunities. Getting a fire started can be much easier than extinguishing it.
