Full Moon

Sun is Aries, 29° 07'
Moon is Libra, 29° 07'

The pink full moon on the 29th degree of Libra can be quite potent as we try to figure out our objectives for the day. The Sun on the 29th degree of Aries is pushing us to be better, be quicker and wrap up those important projects sooner rather than later, because tomorrow, the Sun will be in Taurus and that's a whole different set of rules. The Sun and Moon are still loosely forming a Wedge aspect to Jupiter retrograde in Sagittarius. This helps with our productivity and enhances our abilities to find open opportunities that can help advance our situation. However, because the Sun is moving into a conjunction with Uranus, in Taurus, we need to make quick work of using this aspect. Uranus has a tendency to throw us off balance. Once the Sun is in Taurus, the conjunction will be so much stronger, and push us in a different direction.

Mercury is now in Aries, and activating our thinking process. For some of us, this may only add more confusion as we may not be able to keep pace with the inner workings of our minds. Keep a journal of thoughts throughout the day to get the best use of our ideas. The moon on the 29th degree of Libra is moving faster, but for the peak of the full moon, is emotionally causing us to feel straddled with indecision. Mercury is moving out of a conjunction to Venus in Pisces. We may slip up and talk ourselves into a situation that may not be in our best interest. We need to take our time in responding to avoid some complex situations.

Venus in the last section of Pisces is inclined to connect us to people who we feel safe with, or who we need to care for so that they feel safe with us. However, Venus is forming a square aspect with Jupiter retrograde in Sagittarius which can challenge us to act with the best of intentions. We might blow a situation out of proportion, with misunderstandings and anger. Take it easy to save ourselves from a whole lot of frustration.

Mars is moving through Gemini at a fairly rapid clip. No major aspects during this full moon. However, Mars is hidek (high declination) preparing to transit Out of Bounds tomorrow until June 12. This can create a lot of nervous energy, almost like we are vibrating on too much coffee. Sleep and rest will become our best friend for dealing with all the extra energy. For those of us who tend to run a bit hot, to begin with, we will have more difficulty holding our tempers. While Mars moves through Gemini, we may be a bit too clumsy, as Mars and Gemini can interfere with our balance and coordination efforts. Our interactions with distant relatives and siblings may also be strained.

Jupiter started the retrograde motion on April 9, as was mentioned in the last article. Pluto will station for retrograde motion on April 24, while Saturn will station for retrograde motion on April 30. The three planets will be the only retrograde planets until June 23, when Neptune will station for retrograde.

Saturn and Pluto are still moving direct in Capricorn are forming a stellium with the South Node. We are likely to experience some karmic events that feel tragic but are necessary for transformative purposes. Saturn is moving out of a sextile to Neptune in Pisces. This can add to the confusion and emotions that we are feelings as traverse through situations and events. This is not the best time to try to "rehabilitate" any addictions or modify unproductive behaviors, as Neptune is likely to interfere with any productive changes.

On the positive side of this full moon chart is that it is fairly balanced in Receptive and Element placements. Where we are low is in the Fixed Qualities since we may not have the endurance that we need to sustain momentum. All attempts to correct situations are only for the immediate time frame. Once we are past the full moon's influence, we can start working on the long term with more intentional acts. In the meantime, it's a moon event setting the stage for adapting fo our needs for the short-term.
