Sun is Leo, 19° 22'
Moon is Aquarius, 19° 22'
This full moon is traditionally known as the Sturgeon Moon. As we head into the harvesting season, hunting and fishing became more plentiful for Native Americans before fall. Another note is that this is the last Super full moon of 2022. The moon will appear much larger on the horizon as it rises. Check your local resources for the time that the moon will rise.
The Sun is at home in the sign of Leo, adding some fun, excitement, risk taking opportunities, and generally a positive connection to youngsters. The Moon, opposing, is in Aquarius, where we are out meeting and greeting, and making new friends or having fun with our old friends. Of course the oppostion, adds tension to these two placements, but at the same time, they simply feel more opportunistic and rewarding, regardless of the outcomes. Saturn retrograde is conjunct to the Moon, and by no means hindering or restricting us that much while Saturm moves back over old territory in Aquarius. The goal is to learn lessons, as far as Saturn is concerned, and its "taskmaster" traits are less task and more "review." In the middle, Uranus and Mars are forming T-squares to the full moon's interpersonal interactions. Mars and Uranus are focused more on our personal possessions, as well as personal safety, at the moment. Be careful with our risky behaviors as Uranus and Mars will have no problems in making the situation more dire. Our over confidence could jeopardize our well-being.
Mercury in Virgo is well on its way towards a Mercury retrograde starting the second week of September. All by itself in this chart, we will have very little input from Mercury, but that does not stop us from having an opinion about something or someone, especially since Mercury is at home in Virgo.
Venus, just entered Leo, and is still forming an out of sign opposition to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. Although the intensity of the opposition is fading, there is still the potential for some big fall out in the matters of finances and strong personal relationships. We just keep learning things that we wished were not true.
Mars, in Taurus is forming a trine to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn. Have we figured it out yet that Pluto is going to mess with us during this full moon? Our energy levels are likely to be unsteady with bursts and lulls. We just need to be aware, and not ignore warning signals. Aside from that we are not afraid of much, and we feel confident in our abilities. Part of this is coming in from the Mars sextile to Uranus retrograde in Pisces, which also ties back to Pluto. We are likely to feel well rehearsed, no matter what comes our way. We seem to have almost a sixth sense of events that normally might overwhelm us. Just be careful not to be too over confident or expend too much time and energy on any one situation.
All in all this chart is not too unbalanced. There are an equal number of receptive placements in masculine and feminine. Where we might falter is with our emotions. There is only one placement in a Water sign (Neptune in Pisces). However, there are six placements in Fixed signs, meaning that we may be a bit slow to react, or feel caught off guard because we were focusing too much energy in a different area. This chart reflects that we are more willing to sacrifice for a cause.... Just choose the cause wisely.
