Sun is Libra, 12° 43'
Moon is Aries, 12° 43'
This is the first full moon after the equinox which would be considered a Full Harvest Moon, even though it is October. We are at the (approximate) 50-50 daylight/darkness part of the year, as the northern hemisphere moves farther away from the Sun, while the southern hemisphere moves closer to the Sun.
The Sun is in the sign of Libra, opposite of the Moon in Aries. The Sun is conjunct with Mercury in Libra, adding traits of intellectual and focused thinking for our day. However, there is also the chance of indecision if there are too many choices to consider. The Sun and Moon are forming a T-square to Pluto in Capricorn. We may be overly pushy towards others, especially if we are not seeing situations in the same way. Libra typically strives for balance of power, but the balance is in the eye of the beholder. Find better ways to communicate the needs rather than assuming that others will instantly comprehend. Plus, make an honest assessment of whether it is a need or simply a desire. Others are more considerate when understanding the need.
Venus in Virgo is meeting up with Mars, adding vitality to our creative approach on life. Emotional sparks could fly with excitement or frustration, or both, depending on the situation. We may be easily provoked by others as Venus and Mars form a square to Saturn in Sagittarius. This is likely to be a temporary provocation. Be willing to step away to think before reacting. Adding to the confusion is Venus and Mars forming a trine to Pluto in Capricorn. We might be drawn into new love interests, new financial situations and/or career opportunities might arise. We may want to think these matters over quickly, before losing the option to change. However, there's is a need for balanced research on the choices, before taking the leap.
Jupiter is moving across the anaretic degree (29th) of Libra. We are likely to feel jittery, nervous or excited for the next few days as Jupiter prepares to move into Scorpio on October 10. We each approach the transition differently, with a sense of dread, or a sense of anticipation. Jupiter is opposing Uranus retrograde in Aries. Now is the time to finish up projects so that we are ready for the next challenges that the universe is preparing for us.
Saturn in Sagittarius is forming a trine to Uranus retrograde in Aries. Our organizational skills are being honed. There is the strong possibility of being asked to lead our teams/groups into new territory.
Overall, there is a nice balance of masculine and feminine placements in this chart, helping us to stay focused on the important issues. However, this chart is low on Water element placements with absolutely no Fixed quality placements. We may be impatient in situations that require patience, or lack flexibility, when it is important for us to adapt. We need to take the time to look at what is motivating our decisions. Our ability to act decisively will stem from our appreciation of the potential. Our patience culminates from our resolve to cope with the unexpected. No one is forcing you to make a choice that is not of your own making.
Meditation for the October 5th Full Moon
We work for God. She's a tough boss, and the pay isn't always that good, but the rewards are there.
